Type 98

Robust, general purpose, unbalanced pusher-type, ‘O’-Ring mounted Mechanical Seal. Very similar to the Type 97 but with a double elastomeric Type 98 ’O’-Ring mounted stationary and dimensions to suit common Asian marine pump dimensions.

The Type 98 drives from the shaft, via the drive collar with grub screws, inserted in the spring coil end.
